I’ve been doing some short comics about books in my collection as I begin to shrink said collection and donate what I can donate. Enjoy!
Hourly Comics Day - February 1, 2019
Here’s all the comics I drew for Hourly Comics Day this year. Click on each one to make it bigger and, as a result, easier to read. I had fun doing this, even if the day was ultimately not very exciting.
Two new monsters!

My sister Julie requested some new monsters from me for icons on her respective creative endeavors, which you should check out ASAP because she’s doing really great work:
I still really like drawing cute monsters.
PART ONE of Mr. Stage IV Colon Cancer

Four more pages have now been added to Mr. Stage IV Colon Cancer! Go, go, go read ’em this very instance.
These will now conclude what I’m considering PART ONE of Mr. Stage IV Colon Cancer. PART TWO will deal with my 17-day stay in the hospital, and there is a lot to cover. Some sneak peeks: surgery, flirting, good drugs, skeleton dreams, reverse pooping, a lot of crying, IV woes, the best/worst eggs ever, and so on.
If you’ve enjoyed the comic so far and feel up to sharing it around with folks, please, by all means, help me out. I’m terrible at promoting myself. The easiest ways to share the comic with others is to send them to either my Facebook fan page’s album or my dedicated page to the comic on this website (see the first link above).
That said, thank you to everyone who has been supportive of me as I continue along this curvy, unfortunate road. Y’all rock, and drawing is really helping me cope.
Inktober 2018 edition
Inktober has come and gone. Insert a bunch of sad faces here. It really is a great time for artists worldwide, and I love seeing what themes people come up with, as well as the range of finished artwork. Most of it puts my drawings to shame.
In the past, I’ve done themes around my favorite foods and the best Pokémon that ever existed. Oh, and I also covered some great TV/movie villains and my comfort, go-to movies. I guess I’ve been doing Inktober nonstop since 2014. That’s cool, go me.
For this year, I decided I wanted to showcase some of my favorite videogame characters, as well as draw more traditionally. No scanning, no cleaning up art in Manga Studio, no digital coloring. The art is the art, and this also made it much easier to produce a drawing every single day. Anyways, you can check ’em all out below, and I’m already thinking about what I want to do next year…
Mr. Stage IV Colon Cancer
Hi, all! An update: this summer, after going to the ER for stomach pains, I was quickly diagnosed with Stage IV colon cancer. I’ve decided that when life gives you cancer, make cancer-ade out of it. Er, by that I mean…journal comics!
It’s naturally titled Mr. Stage IV Colon Cancer. You can follow along with the entire comic over here or by clicking on the picture below:
The Sopranos (Season One)

Finally catching up on them popular TV shows…
DEER EYES - a brand new comic
31 Days of Things that are Green
Hi, everyone! For the month of March, I tasked myself with drawing 31 things that are green. Why? Well, because it is simply the best color. Not sure why you even asked that. Anyways, check ’em out below, and let me know if I missed drawing something green that you love.
Intergalactic Empires: Isaac Asimov’s Wonderful Worlds of Science Fiction #1 comics
A couple months ago, I read through a musty ol’ copy of Intergalactic Empires: Isaac Asimov’s Wonderful Worlds of Science Fiction #1, edited by Isaac Asimov, Martin H. Greenberg, and Charles G. Waugh back in 1983 (good year!), and drew a comic for each short story. Why? Well, I was planning on donating the book shortly after I finished it, and long-gone are the days when I reviewed these sorts of things. So instead I used this as a means to make…art. These are the final results, and for the record, “A Planet Named Shayols” was my favorite:
